Netflix is about to get a whole lot more chill, with the introduction of a feature that would let you watch shows without having an Internet connection.
For those of us with dodgy wireless, its constant need to buffer is it's only negative. So this is great news.
It would also bring Netflix in line with its streaming site competitors.
Amazon Instant already offers 'offline video', which allows you to temporarily download movies and TV shows to watch in case you get temporarily transported back to 1993.
Netflix has shied away from offering it because it have marketed itself as an 'online only' service and it's likely not all of its content partners would be on board.
However, according to Light Reading, the feature's currently in development and likely to get rolled out as soon as the end of the year.
Nice one, lads.
