A couple of weeks ago, we brought you the story of a 10-year-old lad who managed to hack Instagram. He got $10,000 from Facebook for the feat.
Well, this new story is ever so slightly different. A 19-year-old claimed to have managed to hack Pornhub. However, instead of letting the website know and claiming a 'bug bounty' prize (money set aside for hackers who find faults in certain websites), he's said he was selling access to the general public for $1,000 a pop and was asking Pornhub for $5,000 if they want him to reveal how exactly he did it in the first place.
The hacker, known as 'Revolver', published pictures of the site's system on Twitter to 'prove' that he had been successful in getting behind the scenes.

However, Pornhub have now denied that security was breached.
They said: "The Pornhub team investigated the claim from the hacker named 1x0123. Our investigation proved that while those screenshot might look realistic to people without knowledge of the underlying infrastructure, the attack as described by the hacker is not technically possible.

"This incident was merely a hoax and no Pornhub systems were breached during those recent events.
"The safety and security of our users is Pornhub top priority. We would like to remind everyone that Pornhub has a public bug bounty program which can be used to responsibility report any legitimate vulnerabilities in exchange for bounty as high as $25,000."
Well. It seems Pornhub is safe. Phew.
