The Original iPhone 2G Is Now Worth More Than The iPhone 7

That's good, innit?

If you're contemplating selling your kidney and getting the iPhone 7, hold that thought.

Turns out the 2G is now up for sale on eBay for anything between £800 and £19,000, so you might want to have a root under your bed for the old model.

The Daily Dot points out that the iPhone 2G is now more expensive than ever before and it's not even 10 years old yet.

Apparently, the phone was taken out of production in July 2008, with 6.1 million units sold.

But, here's the catch, basically, the iPhone 2G was the first popular touchscreen phone, however, things like cases and screen protectors weren't so popular which means loads of them are now all cracked and broken and shit. So that means that there's now a big premium on ones that are still in mint condition. This is especially the case for the ones that are still sealed in their original boxes! (Why anybody would buy an iPhone and not open it is beyond me, though).
