Cannibal serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer described what eating human flesh tasted like

Cannibal serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer described what eating human flesh tasted like

The cannibal reportedly knew which cuts of human flesh tasted best

Jeffrey Dahmer was famed for not only being a killer but a cannibal, and it turns out that he answered a question for the ages: What does human flesh taste like?

The killer, who was beaten to death behind bars at the age of 34, made the revelation to an FBI agent, revealing that he'd fantasised about heating human flesh since he was young.

Prepare to be creeped out by the new series about the killer:

With 17 victims and many years of fantasising behind him, Dahmer was careful when it came to consuming his victims and preparing the human meat.

He ate so much human flesh that he eventually familiarised himself with the best cuts, and even told an FBI agent that it tasted like filet mignon

Bizarrely, he didn't want to keep the meat to himself either, and in a horrifying twist of fate, his former neighbour, Pamela Bass, admitted that she was likely given human flesh by the killer.

She explained that before he was finally arrested, he made her a sandwich, and said: "I have probably eaten someone's body part."

More gruesome stories about the notorious killer are coming to light from Netflix's new series, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

It stars Evan Peters as the killer, who is no stranger to gore thanks to his antics in American Horror Story, and it will explore Dahmer's crimes which took place between 1978 and 1991.

According to Deadline, the series will be 'largely told from the point of view of Dahmer's victims', who were subject to not only cannibalism but necrophilia.

As well as this, the new series will explore the law enforcement errors 'that allowed the Wisconsin native to go on a multiyear killing spree'.

There were reportedly at least ten instances where the cannibal killer was very nearly caught by authorities before he was actually apprehended.

After beginning his killing spree shortly after he graduated at the age of just 18, Dahmer continued for years but was eventually undone in 1991 when he invited three boys back to his apartment to pose nude.

He offered to pay them $100 each for the photographs, but one of them was able to successfully flee and alert authorities.

Dahmer was ultimately sentenced to life in prison in 1992, but he served just two years before he was bludgeoned to death by another inmate in 1994.
