Sex Education season three is coming this September.
The highly anticipated third instalment of the Netflix Original series was announced in February last year, by none other than headmaster Groff himself.
Production started in September 2020 and in June 2021, we got our first peak at the forthcoming series. And fans already hope to see a fourth season going ahead.

So what's in store for our favourite Moordale students this term? Whatever it is, Asa Butterfield (Otis) said we're not ready for season three - I beg to differ!

Is Margot Robbie in Sex Education season 3?
No. Fans of the show fell victim to a prank that Margot Robbie would be appearing in season three as Maeve's sister after an unofficial mock-up poster with the star in it circulated online.

But as Sex Education follows the storylines of several characters, we're likely to see some new faces in season three.
All this said, if the idea proves popular, maybe someone can persuade Robbie to appear in Sex Education season four? The internet would explode.
Sex Education season 3 new characters
Netflix announced in September last year that there would also be three new faces in the upcoming series.

Harry Potter's Jason Isaacs has been cast as headmaster Groff's older, more successful brother, Peter Groff.
And after Groff was booted out, Moordale was in search of a new head teacher - that person is headmistress Hope, played by Girls star Jemima Kirke. The new head wants to restore her old high school back to its former glory - good luck with this bunch, we say.
Finally, there's new student Cal, a non-binary student who clashes with the new headmistress. Cal is played by Dua Saleh, a gender-non-conforming songwriter and recording artist.
