Jameela Jamil has been cast in the new Marvel She-Hulk series on Disney+.
The Radio 1 presenter, actress and model will play the villainous Titania in the forthcoming new series from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The news was exclusively revealed to Variety.

The television series comes out on Disney+ some time in 2022, but an official date hasn't been confirmed yet.

Describing She-Hulk, Marvel says:
"After getting a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, Jennifer Walters gained all the powers of the Hulk - and all the problems. But while she gained massive strength, she never lost her passion for justice."

Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in this series and Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black ) will play Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters.

How did Jameela Jamil get famous?
Jameela Jamil has many strings to her bow. She is a presenter, actress, model, writer and activist.
Jameela made history as the first solo female presenter of the BBC Radio 1 Chart Show in 2012. But her career actually started in teaching.

Her media career began when a producer came across Jameela in a bar and, seeing her potential, asked her to audition as a presenter. Her first presenting gig was on Music Zone on E4 in 2008.
In 2009, she began presenting on Channel 4's T4, the broadcaster's youth slot. The same year, she took over presenter Alexa Chung on the morning TV show Freshly Squeezed, alongside co-host Nick Grimshaw.
In 2010, Jameela presented The Closet, an online fashion advice show on Bebo. And between 2011-2014, she wrong a column for Company magazine.

In January 2012, Jameela replaced June Sapong as the host of Playing it Straight. Later that year she collaborated with Very to showcase her first fashion collection and by the end of the year, she was the host of The Official Chart show on BBC Radio 1.
American audiences know Jameela Jami best for her role in the NBC comedy, The Good Place.
Will there be a She-Hulk movie?
It's an exciting year for Marvel fans, with several movies making it to the big screen, including Black Widow in July, Venom: Let There Be Carnage in September, Marvel: Eternals in November and Thor: Love and Thunder in May 2022 to name just a few.

Fans are loving Loki on Disney+ at the moment, and we're certain She-Hulk will go down just as well when it's released.
At the moment, there aren't any plans to release a She-Hulk movie, but you never know what MCU has in store in future.
