Thor: Love and Thunder has officially finished filming and Chris Hemsworth fans are loving the photo he shared, perfectly capturing his huge arms to celebrate. This comes after photos of the set for the forthcoming film were leaked, revealing a huge new Asgard.
There's plenty to be excited about in the Marvel Cinematic Universe this year, with the release of several new Marvel films over 2021 and 2022 and - the new Avengers Campus at Disneyland California opens in June.
We last saw Thor, Loki and Jane in the 2017 Thor: Ragnarok, which ended with Asgard being destroyed and Thor and Loki leading Asgardians to safety onboard The Mad Titan.
Here's everything we know so far about Thor: Love and Thunder.
Thor: Love and Thunder is currently set to be released in cinemas on 6th May 2022. The other three Thor movies are available to watch on Disney+ if you fancy a recap before the new film.
As filming has only just wrapped for the new film, there's no official trailer yet. We'll let you know as soon as one drops.
The Daily Mail dropped the aerial photos of the new Asgard set in Australia, as seen in the tweet below.
And it's clear The Mad Titan has its place in the New Asgard, which looks very 'Earthy'.
Speaking of the new Thor film, director Taika Waititi said it "makes Ragnarok seem like a really run of the mill, very safe film" - can you imagine?
"It's of the best scripts I've read in years," Chris Hemsworth told ComicBookMovie last year. "It's Taika at his most extreme and best. If the version I read is the one we get running with, it's going to be pretty insane."
Waititi has been inspired by the comic book series when it comes to Jane's powers. In Ragnarok, Jane turned into Thor and wielded his hammer. But every time Jane turned into Thor, the chemotherapy for her cancer treatment reversed.
Natalie Portman did confirm that Jane will be returning in Thor: Love and Thunder with Thor's powers and some of her own. We're not sure what powers she'll encapsulate, but in the comic book series, Jane's powers include creating illusions of herself and teleporting.
Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Natalie Portman (Jane) will be reprising their roles in Thor: Love and Thunder. Alongside them, Tessa Thompson will be returning as Valkyrie, King of New Asgard and Matt Damon is listed as playing 'Actor Loki'.
Christian Bale will return as the villain, Gorr the God Butcher, after first appearing in Thor: God of Thunder.
Russell Crowe is also a confirmed cast member for this latest instalment of Thor. He told Deadline his casting as Zeuss is "one of many surprises to come out of the film."
"All of the Guardians of the Galaxy (minus Gamora from what we know) are in the movie as well. It's likely that they won't have a large part in the film (because this isn't a GOTG movie) seeing that the actors were only in Sydney for 2 WEEKS for the shoot of the movie."
Other notable characters include Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star Lord and director Waititi is the voice of Korg.
Jamie Alexander, who plays Thor's love interest Lady Sif, will be making an appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder and she was seen on set in Sydney in March for two months of filming.
