Tina Fey has explained that this year's Golden Globes Awards will be politics free.
The award ceremony - which is being presented by Fey alongside Saturday Night Live alum Amy Poehler - will be broadcast live from Los Angeles and New York City. Fey, 50, will be hosting the event from Rockefeller Center's Rainbow Room while Poehler will be at the the Beverly Hilton in California.
Speaking earlier this week, Tina Fey told Jill Rappaport in a recent episode of the Rappaport to the Rescue podcast: "We just want to make it a fun hangout for people at home - kind of a stress reliever, so I don't think you can expect much politics at all. It doesn't seem like a venue for political jokes."

With all the nominees who are participating, plus the presenters who are coming to both venues, we will have a star presenting every single award - live."
Some of the presenters of awards this year include: Awkwafina, Cynthia Erivo, Joaquin Phoenix, Renée Zellweger, Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo.

In January, Amy Poehler told Seth Meyers she wasn't too sure how they were planning to pull off the ceremony. Well, this should be fun...
She explained: "We just have a few final questions. When, how, why, where and what? Just those, that's all we need to find out. But we're going to figure it out."
