There aren't many things that Eminem hasn't achieved in his career. He's had 10 number one albums in the US, five number one singles and has sold over 172 million albums globally.

Now he can tick off another record. Curtain Call: The Hits has become the longest charting hip-hop album in the history of the Billboard 200.

The album, released in 2005 when Eminem was 32-years-old, went in at number one and has since gone on to chart for 350 weeks.

Curtain Call, a compilation album, features many of his best-known singles, including: 'The Way I Am', 'My Name Is', 'Stan', and 'Lose Yourself'.

It also featured new songs like 'Fack', 'When I'm Gone' and 'Shake That'.

8 Mile, and The Singles, were both released as compilations before Curtain Call but we never as successful.

It was his seventh released album at the time, and clocked sales over nearly four million in the US, and almost two million in the UK.

Curtain Call is one of seven studio compilations by Eminem, just short of the eight individual solo albums the American artist has also released.

To be fair, Eminem album sales don't perform too badly at all. The Eminem Show, his fourth solo album, and Recovery, his seventh, have also done well on the Billboard 200.

The former has charted for 329 weeks and the latter, 288.

His albums still have some way to go if they wish to take the all-time top-spot across the whole of the Billboard.

Curtain Call currently sits ninth on the history list, with Nevermind by Nirvana and the Guns N' Roses Greatest Hits album sitting just above with 371 weeks, and 408 weeks on the chart respectively.

Miles out in front at the top though is Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon, which, since its release in 1973 has spent an incredible 931 weeks on the Billboard 200.

In second, just to show how out-in-front Pink Floyd are, is Johnny's Greatest Hits by Johnny Mathis which has 'only' spent 490 weeks charting.

It's been some time since we heard anything fresh from Eminem, who, as 2017 advances, has tried something new. He is now sporting a beard...
