Ex-porn star Lana Rhoades has revealed why she wants all of her old scenes to be deleted.

The 27-year-old from Chicago, US started her adult film career in 2016, but decided to leave the industry soon after.

Despite being the most searched actress on Pornhub in 2019, Rhoades has been open about how the job has affected her mental health.

During an interview on Harry Jowsey's 'Tap In' podcast in 2021, she said she wishes she could delete all of her videos.

"A lot of the videos I have no rights under, otherwise I probably would have deleted them all by now," she said back in 2021.

On her regrets, she added: "I do. I honestly tell people, if I could go back, I would give up everything to have my dignity and respect back, and for people not to be able to see me in that way."

Earlier that year, Rhoades hit out at the industry and discussed her experiences of shooting adult scenes.

She previously opened up about one the worst things she ever had to do as a porn performer.

During the conversation on the Three Girls One Kitchen podcast, Rhoades revealed that she still struggles with the mental impacts of one scene in particular.

She said: "One of the worst... honestly, I feel like I'm in denial sometimes and I can't accept some of the things that I've done.

"There was one thing that, ya know, I tried talking to a therapist about before something that I had to do for a scene that was really rough for me.

"Basically, this guy had a bowl and he, like, gagged me until I threw up into it and he, like, p***ed in the bowl, and during the scene he asked me to drink it, and I didn't know how to say no.

"It was one of the most disgusting, foul scenes."

This was just one of a collection of horrifying reasons and experiences that led Rhoades to take the decision to quit the porn industry for good.

And speaking on YouTube channel BFFs with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, she revealed that it's turned out pretty well for her financially, as she's now a multi-millionaire.

Rhoades said: "The industry I did not get paid s***.

"I probably had $100,000 (£71,000) in my bank account when I quit shooting porn and now I'm a multi-millionaire."

Rhoades now co-hosts a podcast called 3 Girls 1 Kitchen.
