Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are officially engaged, confirming their good news with a classy announcement in The Times today.
Rumours that Jon Snow had bent the knee to Ygritte were all over the place yesterday, but nothing was officially confirmed until today when the paper hit the shelves.

The announcement in the 'forthcoming marriages' sections reads: "Mr K.C. Harington and Miss R.E. Leslie - The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire."
Is it just me or is that announcement like something off Game of Thrones?
The couple owe a lot to the show. Not only did it help them find fame and fortune, it's also where they found each other back in 2012, when they were cast as on-screen lovers.

Two years later, Rose left the show, but she'd made a lasting impression on Kit. Speaking to L'Uomo Vogue about his favourite memory of working on the show, he said it was working Iceland with Rose.

He said: "Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love.
"If you're already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love."
Despite starting their relationship several years ago, they kept it low key and only 'went public' in 2016 at the Olivier Awards.
The pair recently moved into a £1.75 million house in East Anglia. Nice.

Kit told James Corden back in June: "I've moved in with my other best friend ,Rose, so I'm very happy. It's going well, so she's got all sorts of ideas for the house.
"I said to her, cause she's moved into my house, 'Look, darling, it's important that this is our space. That it feels like our space. That you haven't just moved into mine. Move anything you want around, change anything, chuck anything out.'"

According to a the Sun, a source close to the couple said they've not set a date yet.
They said: "Kit's known for ages he's wanted to marry Rose but he wanted them to get a house and settle down a bit first."
Let's hope their real-life relationship is a lot less turbulent than their on-screen one, eh?
