Yes, it's only November but Christmas adverts are already hitting the screens, lights are getting switched on and Netflix is stocking up on some of the best festive films to get us in the mood.

The Sun reports that Netflix's Christmas film section is already primed and ready to go - and thanks to a series of codes that, once you have them, are ridiculously easy to use, you can watch the festive favourites straight away. Go on, fill your boots.

Basically, Netflix has tens of thousands of hidden codes that can give you access to super specific movie genres and categories that aren't readily available on the side menu.

To get going with it, all you have to do is make a slight alteration to the Netflix URL on the search bar on your Internet tab.

You should start off with something like this: http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/INSERTNUMBER

So what do you do? Just replace the 'INSERTNUMBER' with a code for the genre or category you'd like to access.

Of course, there are three codes you NEED to know (and keep logged for the weeks leading up to the big day and beyond). There is one genre called 'Christmas Children & Family Films' - with the code 1474017.

So just amend the URL to read: 'http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/1474017'. EASY.

Next up there is the 'Romantic Christmas Films' for all those loving the love around Christmas - for this enter the code 1394527.

Then there is 'Family-friendly Christmas Films' - which are definitely a festive staple for all - simply enter code 1394522. I really hope they have Elf on there.

Sometimes we obviously want something a bit more specific - for instance, maybe you've got to keep the kids entertained, but their teenage years are now on the horizon, meaning they want something that's not quite aimed at grown-ups, but they also don't want something too childish. In this case Netflix also have a series of specific codes:

Christmas Children & Family Films for ages 11 to 12 - 1477206

Feel-good Christmas Children & Family Films - 1475066

Christmas Children & Family Films for ages 5 to 7 - 1477201

Goofy Christmas Children & Family Films - 1475071

Christmas Children & Family Films from the 1990s - 1476024

British Christmas Children & Family Films -1527064

Christmas Children & Family Films for ages 8 to 10 - 1477204

European Christmas Children & Family Films - 1527063

Canadian Christmas Children & Family Films - 1721544

Getting on board with the streaming service's festive films early is definitely recommended for Yuletide fanatics - especially following October's announcement of a brand new Netflix Christmas film. Even better, it comes from the brains behind Home Alone - one of the best Christmas films, don't @ me.

Titled The Christmas Chronicles, the movie is set to feature none other than Kurt Russell as Santa Claus. And while the thought of Mr. Nobody as the dude in the red hat might awaken the Scrooge inside some of us, you'll likely be pleased to know that Home Alone producer Chris Columbus is on board - so you know it's going to be Christmassy AF.

Basically, it's a good time for all those Christmas film lovers out there.
