Don't worry, you won't be finding any Avengers: Endgame spoilers here. As you've probably guessed from the headline, which you've clicked through to, this is all about something that doesn't happen at the end.
Any self-respecting Marvel fan will know that post-credits scenes have become something of a staple for MCU flicks, whether it's the famed shawarma party from The Avengers, the introduction of the ADORABLE Baby Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy or Nick Fury announcing the beginnings of the Avengers crew at the end of Iron Man.
But for Marvel's latest outing the production company is flouting its own tradition, as there's no rousing or amusing sequence to hang around for after the credits have rolled.

Yep, for the first time in the MCU's 22-film history, we won't be getting the bonus scene that fans have come to know, love and expect. Boo.
Twitter user Daniel Richtman, a well-known leaker, tweeted before the film's release to break the bad news to us.
"After talking to a few people can now confirm - NO POST CREDITS SCENES in Endgame," he said cryptically, adding: "Just so you know #Endgame."

But there is something slightly worth staying in your seat for. Well, kind of.
As Gamespot reports, there's a notable sound at the end of the credits, which appears with the Marvel logo. It sounds a lot like metal hitting metal, but this is open to interpretation, really. Gamespot speculates that this sounds like 'Tony Stark forging his first Iron Man armor'.
So, basically, you could stay in the cinema and sit through the credits that may or may not hint towards something for MCU's Phase 4.

Or you could pack up your empty popcorn carton and leave the cinema knowing it just won't be the same as a full post-credits scene.
Don't worry, there's plenty more to get excited about with the film itself, as the initial reviews are looking promising.
