One person was killed and three were injured during Nipsey Hussle's funeral yesterday.

Thousands of mourners lined the streets as the singer's hearse made its way through Los Angeles. However, it quickly descended into chaos when a vehicle drove past and shot four people.

Officers confirmed three men and a woman, aged between 30 and 50, were hit by bullets fired form the grey vehicle, which is now being hunted down by authorities.

The tragic news was announced by police chief Michel Moore who shared a statement to his Twitter page, calling for an end to gun violence.

"Tragically one is deceased. We must stop this senseless violence."

He then added: "Today 10 thousand gathered in tribute 2 Nipsey Hussle.

Among the thousands of mourners were stars including Stevie Wonder, who called for stronger gun control laws in light of the shocking violence.

He said: "It is a heartbreak to again lose a member of our family. It is a heartbreak because it's so unnecessary.
