Borat has made a hilarious appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, taking the opportunity to not only treat Kimmel to a coronavirus inspection, but to also introduce him to his daughter.

After being welcomed onto the show by Kimmel, Sacha Baron Cohen in character as Borat shuffles on stage with a strange-looking canister and several other gadgets, announcing that there is a virus as he whips out a frying pan to smash the 'infectious cells' he can see in the air.

Later in the segment, we're shown a clip from the forthcoming Borat sequel, in which Borat and his daughter Tutar (Maria Bakalova) visit an women's health clinic after she accidentally swallows a decorative plastic baby on top of a cupcake.

"I have a baby inside me, and I want to take it out of me," Tutar says in the clip.

Her father adds: "I feel bad because I was the one who put the baby in her. I was just trying to give my daughter pleasure, and next thing I know there is a baby inside her."

The pastor they've inadvertently gone to see doesn't look particularly impressed.

Back in the studio, Tutar joins her father on stage, carrying a framed image she has stolen from backstage and sitting on the floor in front of the armchair.

"She's a very good thief!" Borat says proudly.

Translating for his daughter, Borat then tells Kimmel that Tutar likes his trousers.

"Can she have them?" he asks.

"You want to have my pants?" a taken-aback Kimmel says to Tutar, who nods and says: "Yes."

Kimmel tries to tell the duo that they can have the trousers 'later on', saying he'll leave them out - but this angers Tutar, who jumps up and starts shouting aggressively at the host.

"It's better you give her your pants," Borat says diplomatically, taking his off as a trade.

Eventually, Borat and Tutar succeed and Kimmel ends up concluding the segment in his boxers, looking genuinely sheepish as he squats behind a sofa.

Among all the chaos, Kimmel did find one very brief moment to mention Borat's new movie,Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.

"I have seen your film and it is wonderful and no one who loves you will be disappointed," he tells Borat from behind the sofa.

"It is miraculous and I hope that many, many Americans watch it."

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm premieres on Amazon Prime on 23 October.
