A comedian has trolled GB News by sneakily showing his bum while calling in with a video message, even saying with a totally straight face in the clip that he is a 'man that loves to laugh'.

Adam Pacitti, who is a comedian and Managing Director of wrestling site Cultaholic, called into the news channel last night to ask a question to Laurence Fox, who had joined presenter Dan Wootton in the studio.

But while his topic appeared to be sincere as he innocently asked Fox about people being offended by jokes, it soon became apparent there was also a hilarious prank at play.

In the video - which was filmed in selfie mode - Pacitti looks into the camera as he says: "Hello. I am a great fan of your work and also a great fan of comedy.

"I am a man that loves to laugh. I am of the belief that either one can joke about everything or nothing at all because somebody will always be offended by a joke.

"What are your thoughts on that?"

However, at one point he subtly moves to the side to reveal the mirror on the wall behind him - in turn briefly exposing his bare backside.

While Wootton and Fox seemed to be none the wiser, viewers at home soon picked up on the joke, with one sharing screenshots from the video on Twitter, writing: "@GBNEWS you do realize that guy had his a**e out? Check the reflection in the mirror! #GBNews."

Another wrote: "Very subtle mooning from Adam, asking a question to Laurence Fox on Dan Wootton's GB News show."

Pacitti later addressed what happened on social media, reposting the screengrabs on Twitter and saying it had been 'a solid night's work'.

He also posted a still of his big moment on Instagram, writing in the caption: "Managed to show my a**e on national TV today."

Since launching on Sunday (13 June), GB News has been pranked by a number of other people - including members of the public calling in using fake names... Yep, the kind of fake names you can't really broadcast.

Simon McCoy and co-presenter Alex Phillips fell victim to their first prank caller on Tuesday afternoon (15 June).

When talking about parenting and nutrition for children, Phillips had some insightful input from a certain 'Mike Oxlong', who had contacted the show to agree with her.

Later on, Michelle Dewberry had an email from a Mr Mike Hunt - who wanted to throw some light on his thoughts on children's toys.

Although there may well be people out there actually called Mike Hunt and Mike Oxlong, the fact they both happened to call in to the controversial new channel seems like a bit too much of a coincidence.
