Naked Attraction host admits male contestants resort to same 'crafty' manhood trick on show

The host of Channel 4's Naked Attraction once admitted that basically all the men who ended up being contestants on the show did the same trick.

It's Anna Richardson's job to keep control of a show focused on everyone getting naked and deciding if they want to date each other, and it's a busy job.

There have been plenty of awkward moments on the show, including the time a contestant went in for a kiss with Richardson, but when the cameras aren't rolling it doesn't mean that the shenanigans stop.

Naked Attraction itself is pretty routine once you get over all the naked people, someone will come on and be shown a number of people in the nude, with their bodies gradually revealed.

Eliminated one by one until there's only two left, everyone then gets naked and of the last two contestants one of them gets picked to go on a date.

Speaking on The Andy Jaye Podcast, Richardson once let listeners in on some behind-the-scenes secrets about the show.

She said: "The boys always want the studio to be warm, and they're all doing that crafty tug behind the pods because they want their manhood to look their very best.

"They're always fiddling and touching... whereas the girls want the studio to be freezing because they want their boobs to look their very best."

But aside from the temperature issues, there are other, more troubling things to worry about for the lads.

It's not just the size of their equipment, but also the control - or lack of - they have over it.

A couple of years back, one poor sod got himself a bit over-excited and actually had to be led away to compose himself.

And Richardson revealed that he wasn't the only one either.

She explained: "We did have a couple of seasons ago, there was a young man who I think might have been in the pink pod and he was getting a little bit excited about what was about to happen.

"So our lovely floor manager, Dave the floor manager, had to go 'come on' and just had to escort him off the floor for a little while, just to calm down.

"And then he was brought back onto set."

Richardson added: "It all happens. Boys being boys - you can't control your anatomy, can you?

"So, there's been a little bit of excitement."

I mean, it's bound to happen, isn't it?
