Fans have same complaint as first trailer for The Crow remake starring Bill Skarsgård drops

Some people think it looks cool, while others are wondering why it's being made

The first trailer for a remake of The Crow has been released and fans watching it all have the same thing to say.

In case you hadn't heard, Bill Skarsgård is soon set to star in The Crow, a kind of supernatural superhero movie about a guy who gets murdered but comes back for revenge.

Based on a graphic novel of the same name, the movie is a remake-cum-reboot of the 1994 movie version which ended up in tragedy on the set when Brandon Lee was accidentally shot.

The Crow is the infamous film where Lee died while working on a scene where his character is supposed to be shot, but while the gun had been loaded with dummy rounds, one of them had become lodged in the barrel.

The prop gun was then loaded with blanks, which meant that when the trigger was pulled it fired the lodged bullet with almost as much power as a normal gunshot would have had.

Despite the new trailer for the remake of The Crow being released, many fans don't seem too enthusiastic about going to see it.

Many of them share the same complaint, that they're trying to 'remake a masterpiece' which won't live up to the 1994 version.

It's a remake of the 30-year-old film.

"A film that just didn't need a remake," another said, while a third asked movie studios to 'please stop remaking things'.

The release of the first trailer isn't the first time fans of The Crow have wondered whether a remake or reboot is really needed, with some wondering whether it's disrespectful to Brandon Lee.

"I'm really curious like, who actually asked for a remake of The Crow?" one inquisitive viewer wondered aloud.

"Cause fans don't want it. I don't want it. Do producers think it'll make loads of money?

"Cause I don't see it. I think it is disrespectful to Brandon Lee's legacy and death. Not everything needs a remake."

Not everyone was so gloomy on the film, as some said that judging by the trailer The Crow would have 'slick visuals' and they'd 'give this movie a shot'.
