Mum Attempts To Emulate Model's 'Upside Down Bikini' Photo On Instagram

It can be quite enjoyable, staring longingly at the beautiful people of Instagram. But often the experience is tainted by the pang of sadness that comes with knowing we will probably never look as good as they do.

Fortunately, nobody makes us replicate their poses, before posting the result alongside the original and making us feel like shit. However, one mum has made a name for herself by doing just this - pointing out how idealised a lot of the images we see are, and giving us a good laugh in the process.

Laura Belbin's latest effort sees her attempt to emulate the 'upside down bikini' look sported by 27-year-old model, Valentina Fradegrada.

In the original photo, the Italian wears her bikini top upside down while tugging down on her bikini bottoms.

Mum-of-two Laura's DIY version sees her use a bin bag to cover - or attempt to cover - her boobs, while pulling a sort of lifeless face she says was caused by 'clenching'.

Captioning the post, she said: "GOOGLE GOALS.... TAN LINES..... When you want to focus on keeping the tan even, but you've had two kids and you've hit your 30s hard so your tits look a lot like spaniels ears with saucepan areolas that sat on the hob for 40 minutes.

"I was smuggling binbag up my crack as I swallowed. I had every intention of smiling but turns out clenching and looking sexy isn't as easy as it looks.

"When I asked Steve to take another photo he said: 'I need a shit, just use that photo...'"

So yeah, suffice to say it's a much less glamorous post, but that is the whole point after all.

In the comments, she was hailed a 'hero' by some of her followers.

One person said: "Ur so funny.... literally I've laughed so hard I swear a small amount of 'wee' exited my body"

Another commented: "That's gold!!! You never ever fail hun, I love it. Thanks again for always making me smile and laugh with you xxx"

You can probably tell from the brilliantly executed shot, that this isn't Laura's first time doing this. In the past she has copied the looks of countless models, as well as celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Lopez.

Long may Laura continue her fine work.
