You may have heard that we Brits have a bit of a reputation throughout the rest of the world for having, to put it bluntly, shite food.
Ask any top chef and they'll tell you that British food is crass, it's just meat and potatoes and it's void of any sort of refinement. They'll tell you that British food is to world cuisine what Love Island is to Shakespearian theatre.
But those people are snobs and I hope they're still hungry after all of their pretentious oysters and escargot, because once they see this they're going to have to eat their words, followed by a big, fuck-off slice of steaming hot humble pie.

Britain is back on the culinary map, my friends, and it's all thanks to this stunning piece of art.
People, feast your eyes upon... THE YORKSHIRE BURRITO!

Admittedly, the fundamental concept has been nicked from another country, but we've basically built an entire nation off the back of doing that so let's not get all precious about it now, when it actually matters.
The Yorkshire Burrito is a cultural turning point for old Blighty.
All the best bits of British food, wrapped up snuggly inside another one of the best bits of British food.
If you've ever tried to eat a Sunday roast with your bare hands and failed (it's always the gravy that gets you, isn't it?) now is your time to shine.

The Yorkshire Burrito company is one of the brands leading the revolution and has the following to say about the matter on its website:
"Our philosophy is simple: to celebrate the Sunday roast and all the trimmings in a way that can be enjoyed anywhere, not just at home or down the pub.
"Featuring heavily in this celebration will always be the humble Yorkshire Pudding, infinitely better than sliced bread and invented way before. We eat, sleep and breathe the roast, cut us and we bleed gravy (although unfortunately it's too thick to use in our cooking)."
It's not just beef either; Yorkshire pudding fans can go for chicken, pork or even a veggie option made up of roasted cauliflower cheese, stuffing and roasties.

The people of Twitter are thrilled with the Yorkshire burrito, with many of them taking to their keyboards to voice their excitement.

There's a reason it's called 'Great' Britain. Anyone else feeling hungry?
