Christina Aguilera admits her orgasms have changed as she's got older

The singer has said things have changed as she's aged

Christina Aguilera has spoken openly about her sex life and said that things have changed as she’s got older.

The 42-year-old 'Genie In A Bottle' singer is also the co-founder of lube brand Playground, which promises that it ‘goes beyond sight and touch with full-sensory libido-enhancing products that stimulate your body and mind’ and comes in four different formulas: Love Sesh, Date Night, Mini Escape and After Hours.

With the launch of Playground, Aguilera has been open about her own sex life and says she hopes to empower other women to do the same.

During a recent interview with People, Aguilera said: "This is a very natural progression for me, personally.

"[I hope to] inspire other women to feel comfortable with talking about their experiences and owning their body and their sexuality and what that means to them, because every woman is different."

Opening up about her own experiences, Aguilera revealed that more ‘pleasure points’ have opened up for her as she's aged - just in case you were wondering.

The Grammy-winning singer said: "I've gotten to know my vagina well over the last 42 years. And literally there are pleasure points that keep opening up as you get older.

"And that's something that I've really noticed. There's four different places that I can orgasm from around my vagina, and that is the truth."

The star went on to say that she thinks of her sex life as a part of her overall wellbeing, adding: "Even if you don't have a partner, you can have your own date night with yourself, so I kind of love that about it. We travel. We don't always have access to other people.

"Get to know yourself early so that you can lead a more pleasurable life.”

Sexologist Danielle Simpson-Baker told Buzzfeed that Aguilera’s claims about the changes to her ‘pleasure points’ are legit.

"Not only do our bodies change as we age, which may make some areas less sensitive and push us to explore others, we also gain more knowledge about our bodies as we get older," she said.

"It's possible that along with that heightened awareness about our bodies comes more knowledge on how to derive pleasure from them as we get older.”

Danielle went on to note that many women say they feel more satisfied in their sex lives as they get older - and it seems like Christina Aguilera may be one of them.
