‘Genius’ iPhone hack can give you ‘unlimited’ battery with just one click

‘Genius’ iPhone hack can give you ‘unlimited’ battery with just one click

The TikToker revealed the hack to save your battery

There is a common conundrum with iPhone users all over the world, and that’s the way that the battery seems to last an hour or two with constant use.

Seriously, what’s going on Apple?

It could be because we’re all constantly scrolling on our phones for the majority of the day, be it at work, school or at home.

So, maybe it’s not all down to the manufacturer, but to our changing and evolving demand for constant stimulation.

However, a tech whizz has come to our rescue and has provided a ‘fool proof’ hack that gives you ‘unlimited power’ and I mean… who wouldn’t want that?

If you recently updated to iOS 17.1.1 and found that your phone is now as useful as a kettle with holes in it, then you’re not alone as many complained of their short battery life just days later.

But if you take a peek at your settings, you’ll be able to enjoy a long-lasting battery life once again.

The TikTok user, @T_Sply, told viewers that they could expect 'unlimited cell phone battery' simply by dimming their screen.

First, you need to go to your iPhone's Settings, then you’ll click from Accessibility to Display & Text Size and click on the Reduce White Point option to activate the hack.

If you really want to make your battery last, you can push the slider to as far as it can do, completely dimming your screen.

Not only does reducing the white point conserve your phone’s energy, but it can also help to battle eye strain, which can cause some nasty headaches and it can also set you up for a nice screen time session when you’re sat in bed in the dark.

According to doctors, melatonin levels start to rise at 9pm, and peak in the early hours of the morning.

So bright lights can stop your brain from preparing a nice long snooze.

I mean, it will have some cons as hacks often do, like making it harder for you to watch videos and read texts out in the sun, but it’s all about give or take.

Do you want to have your battery die after an hour scrolling TikTok? I don’t think so.

So, all you need to so is selectively reduce the white point when you feel like it and reap the rewards.

But don’t think we’re telling you to (or the tip master either) reduce your brightness.

It’s not the same thing!

However, it’s also a good thing to do to get your body ready for sleep time.
