After last night's (22 Nov) episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, some fans were left absolutely fuming with the same complaint.

The popular series had an allocated time slot from 9pm to 10:15pm and some viewers weren't happy with the amount of ad breaks in that time.

However, ITV made it clear that the episode featured no more ads than any other of its shows of the same length.

Social media users were quick to issue their complaints.

One person tweeted: "the amount of adverts is horrendous. ITV sort ur s**t out"

"So far we've had 40 mins of adverts and about 20 mins of the show," another moaned.

"Why does #ImACeleb have so many adverts this year, it's causing me pain," someone else commented.

An ITV spokesperson told LADbible: "The number of minutes of advertising shown in I'm A Celeb is no more than is usual in a programme of its length and is fully compliant with allowances stipulated in the Ofcom Code on the Scheduling of TV Advertising."

Fan frustration even began before the show aired and fans were not impressed with this year's line-up of contestants.

Despite, Ant and Dec returning to Gwrych Castle for a second year running, the rest of the cast weren't accepted as much.

This year's cohort of celebs is made up of ex-BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin, Olympic Gold Medallist Matty Lee, Radio 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy, TV presenter and journalist Richard Madeley and choreographer Dame Arlene Phillips, DBE. Music producer Naughty Boy, Paralympic Gold Medallist Kadeena Cox, MBE, football legend David Ginola, pop star and presenter Frankie Bridge and Emmerdale star Danny Miller are also taking part.

Writing on Twitter, one unhappy camper said: "I'm sorry but the I'm a Celeb line up is rubbish this year. Don't know half of them."

Echoing the discontent, another chimed in: "God this year I'm a Celeb line up is so s*** bring back Harry Redknapp."

A third said: "I'd watch TV purely for I'm a Celeb before Covid... is it just me or is the show/line-up rubbish in Wales?"

While yet another added: "I'm not watching I'm a Celeb this year... line up is w***, googled that David fella and don't see the attraction tbh."
