Unless you've been living in the Upside Down, you're probably aware that Season 3 of the popular Netflix series Stranger Things dropped this month. Despite many people being disappointed with the second season (I thought it was better than season one, don't @ me), the latest adventures with the gang have broken the streaming service's viewer records and has topped the most watched list this week.
Netflix tweeted: "If you're into that kind of thing here's this week's top ten:
1. Stranger Things
3. Creed II
4. Murder Mystery
5. The Hunger Games
7. The Dark Tower
8. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
9. Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room (@Kathbum)
10. The Last Czars"

More than 40 million households tuned into the show in its first four days. Earlier this week, Netflix tweeted: "@Stranger_Things 3 is breaking Netflix records! 40.7 million household accounts have been watching the show since its July 4 global launch - more than any other film or series in its first four days. And 18.2 million have already finished the entire season."
Before that, Bird Box had topped the list with eight million people watching the 'The Quiet Place" clone over a four-week period.
Gerard Way's comic series adaptation 'Umbrella Academy' was listed as having 45m viewers in its first month which was the most for a series in the first quarter of 2019. Yet Stranger Things has almost hit that amount in just a tenth of the time.
Season one of the 80s-inspired horror show featured a relatively unknown cast, but thanks to the popularity of the series the likes of Milly Bob Brown have become household names. Millie Bob Brown in arguably the most famous of the bunch, playing Eleven. Since she starred in the show she's performed in Godzilla: King of Monsters and featured in the TIME 100: The Most Influential People of 2018.
Finn Wolfhard who plays her love interest Mike Wheeler has already starred in the film adaptation of Stephen King Novel 'It' and is set to have a role in both the Addams Family and the new Ghostbusters film in 2020.

One of the actors who has captured the imagination of fans this year is Dacre Montgomory who plays mullet-rocking bad boy, Billy Hargrove. He recently revealed that being bullied himself helped him play a bully in Stranger Things season 3.
If you haven't caught up with Stranger Things 3, we suggest you do so soon. With millions of people tuning in, it's only a matter of time until someone in the office spoils it for you.
