Fans Are Going Wild Over Stranger Things Season 3

Earlier this morning Stranger Things finally dropped on Netflix and fans have gone wild after waiting for almost two years.

The highly-anticipated third season has eight brand new episodes that some fans have spent the majority of the day binge-watching their way through (when do you people sleep/work?!)

The series is clearly going down a treat with the first reviews propelling it to a 'Certified Fresh' status on Rotten Tomatoes in record timing.

With the tomatometer currently fixed at 95 per cent and an audience score of 93 per cent it wasn't a surprise to see people raving about it on social media.

Some fans were even reduced to tears with one writing: "I just finished watching Stranger Things 3 and the last episode had me crying for 40 mins and I never cry at movies or shows what THE F**K".

Another added: "F**k.... Stranger Things Season 3 destroyed me. Haven't cried that much since Endgame."

Not everyone was on the same page though, with one person tweeting: "I expected nothing and still got disappointed. It's just a -thing. Not that I don't like the show, but come on!"

Another said: "i appreciate STRANGER THINGS might work for some but for me, it's one of the most insidiously awful works of mainstream culture."
