Jamie Lynn Spears has quit I'm A Celeb

Jamie Lynn Spears has left the ITV show

Another campmate has left ITV's star-filled jungle.

Following Grace Dent's exit from the show earlier this week, Jamie Lynn Spears has now quit I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

The 'singer and actor's' exit from the jungle was confirmed in the early hours of Thursday (30 November) morning over in Australia - yeah, time differences make this a little confusing but just run with it.

So the younger sister of Britney Spears' last appearance on the ITV show will be tonight - that's Wednesday 29 November in the UK.

Spears had only recently threatened to leave the show, saying it's where people 'go to have the worst days of their lives' but her campmates comforted her and encouraged her to stay in the jungle.

An ITV spokesperson said: "Jamie Lynn Spears has left I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She's been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities."

Dent also left the show on medical grounds after her sudden departure was announced on Monday.

The Masterchef star said her departure from I'm A Celeb was 'one of the saddest things in my life'.

Dent's statement said: "My dear campmates, I’m so sorry to let you down.

“I have left the camp for medical reasons. My heart is broken, I have loved and enjoyed getting to know you all.

“You’ve held me up and it’s been a pleasure being your friend through this experience.

Grace Dent also recently quit the show on medical grounds.

“Leaving you all at this stage will be one of the saddest things in my life. I love you all. Your friend, Miss Grace Dent.”

And while she hasn't had to leave the camp as well, Nella Rose paid a visit to the medics before Spears made her exit.

The comedian was exempt from last night's Bushtucker Trial while she was treated by the show's medics.

But don't worry, it doesn't look like she's going anywhere as n ITV spokesperson said: "During last night's live broadcast, Nella Rose required medical treatment on site and was deemed unable to take part in the trial.

"Nella has since rejoined camp."

Dent and Spears join a list of celebs who have had to leave I'm A Celeb on 'medical grounds' over the years.

Back in 2022, Love Island's Olivia Attwood left very early in to the series - after just 24 hours.

Other stars to exit in the past include Lady Colin Campbell in 2015, Richard Madeley in 2021 and Brian Conley in 2012.
