Paramore's Hayley Williams and Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory have announced they are to split in an Instagram post to their followers.
The pair, married in February 2016, have been together for over 10 years, but have decided to call time on their relationship.
The post, issued at around 18:00 BST on Saturday July 1, stated that it was not an easy decision to make.
"So much more goes into putting a statement together than anyone will ever see," the post begins.
"We've grown up together and we've been beside each other through a lot of goodness and a lot of challenges," it continues.
They said that 'love is an absolute risk' but that it hasn't worked out quite the way they hoped for.
"We want to publicly state - plainly, and only this time - that we are splitting up. We also feel it's important to state that we are going to be okay and in fact, we remain close friends who are good in each other's eyes.
"That's something we are deeply thankful. Even though situations like these can feel defeating. We will continue to encourage and support each other personally and professionally."
Fans took to social media, instantly, to wish their former couple well.
Both Hayley, 28 and Chad, 36, will focus on their continuing tours. On Sunday and Monday, Hayley, along with Paramore, are performing in Germany as the European leg of their tour continues.
New Found Glory, featuring Chad, are currently embarking on a US tour, with their next gig in Richmond, Virginia on July 11.
