Rupert Grint Spent His 'Harry Potter' Money Chasing His Real Dream

Rupert Grint Spent His 'Harry Potter' Money Chasing His Real Dream

I'll take a 99, Ron.

What do you do when you've starred in a huge film franchise about wizards and Emma Watson and flying broomsticks? Whatever you want to be honest, it pays well.

Everyone's favourite ginger, Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films, spent (some) his millions buying an ice cream van.

Why you ask? Failed dreams.

Speaking to the Daily Mail in 2014, Grint said: "My first ambition was to become an ice-cream man, which is why I bought the Bedford van. Not long after I first got it, I pulled into a pub to do a U-turn and there were eight kids with their pocket money out, hoping to buy a 99 or whatever. But I had nothing to give them. I've learnt my lesson since then."

Does he sell ice cream from it? No, but who cares, it's not about WHAT you do, it's about HOW you look and I guess he looks kind of cool hanging out the window.

Plus everyone knows being an ice cream man is actually just a front for selling VHS porn out of a moving vehicle.
