It's the gift you never thought you wanted but always knew you needed.

Out of all the characters on Neighbours over the years, few have received the cult infamy as Toadie (played by Ryan Moloney).

Who's idea it was to name a character Jarrod Vincenzo 'Toadfish' Rebecchi is beyond us, but he is still an icon to this day. So that's why Maloney is the perfect person to be the face of a new range of Neighbours inspired clothing that has his beautiful mug on it.

Frida Las Vegas has designed the new line and the Toadfish party shirt and dress, showing the character with a glorious mullet, is one hell of a look.

The 'glamour sack' is available for $220 (£117) - and unfortunately the designer advises leaving four weeks to ship, so any plans for last-minute Christmas gifts are scuppered.

The website says: "Frida Las Vegas has teamed up with iconic soap opera Neighbours to bring Ramsay Street chic out of the telly and into the wardrobes of suburban glamazons worldwide in celebration of its 35th year!

"On Ramsay Street, everyone knows your name and says g'day! Spread some antipodean cheer with this hella 80s-inspired print that is guaranteed to put a smile on the dials of all you encounter - both neighbours and good friends."

The brand also also recruited a bunch of other Neighbours stars to help launch the range, including April Rose Pengilly, who plays Chloe Brennan, Olivia Junkeer, who plays Yashvi Rebecchi, Zima Anderson, who plays Roxy Willis, Bonnie Anderson, who plays Bea Nilsson and Georgie Stone, who plays Mackenzie Hargreaves.

While these actors are brilliant, you can't get past Toadie and his mullet being promoted by Toadie himself.

He's been an icon for so long and it would be an honour to have his face emblazoned on your shirt.

His legendary status was summed up beautifully by The Age's Chris Middendorp in 2002: "Who could be a better friend and neighbour than 'Toadfish' Rebecchi?

"Since 1995 he's been a great comrade and a veritable rock to Bill, to Joel, to Sarah, to Amy, to Lance, to Drew... Toadie has been the very incarnation of the listening ear and the supportive hand.

"The writers rewarded him by having the lovely Dee become his girlfriend. While Toadie is physically no great bargain, glamorous Dee confesses that it is his integrity and capacity for loyal friendship that attracts her."

We couldn't have put it better if we tried.
