Liam Gallagher has revealed he is on a health kick to 'undo years of partying' amid health issues, admitting he's on a 'downwards slide'.
The 51-year-old is well known for his rock and roll lifestyle back in the day but nowadays heâs living a very different life.
Last year, the Oasis singer underwent a hip operation due to arthritis as a result of a long-running thyroid issue.

Back in 2017, Gallagher was diagnosed with Hashimotoâs disease which is an autoimmune disease where your body makes antibodies that attack the cells in your thyroid.
Symptoms of that include tiredness and muscle weakness, and the star also suffers with the skin condition, psoriasis. So, itâs fair to say heâs been through it.
And now, after years of taking drugs and hitting the booze, Gallagherâs undergone a âhealth trip'.
He told The Sun: âYou've got to undo all the bad work you've done through f***ing getting off your head and all that.

âItâs time to undo it all now and get back to reality. All that stuff you thought was cool in the early days⊠itâs time to get healthy.â
Gallagherâs health kick has him getting up at the early hour of 4.00am every day and cutting back on alcohol, drugs and cigarettes.
âAs you get older, life is precious, do you know what I mean?â the star explained. âWhen you are younger you donât care. âIâm a thinkerâ
âBut as you get older, youâre getting closer to wherever youâre meant to be going.â
The âMars to Liverpoolâ singer added that he âlovesâ waking up so early in the morning.
âRound about six or seven I start nodding off. But early doors Iâm up four oâclock in the morning â come on!â

Although, itâs not like heâs doing the typical âmorning routineâ of some stars in the early hours as he revealed he actually does ânothingâ at that time. âJust sit around at the end of the bed thinking. Iâm a thinker,â he said. Fair enough.
When Gallagher had his hip op, he had to cut back on the jogging which heâd made a key part of his fitness routine.
"My hips are fed. Iâve got arthritis, bad. I went to get it checked out and my bones are mashed up,â he said.
âI canât sleep at night for the pain. Tossing and turning. So Iâm on herbal sleeping tablets and theyâve saved my life.
"One of them, seven hours out, no pain. Iâm definitely on the downwards slide, though. But weâre all going to die, arenât we?â
Well, thereâs a cheery thought for a Sunday.
