Michelle Keegan shares disturbing reason Mark Wright won't let guests use toilets in their £3.5 million home

Michelle Keegan revealed why Mark Wright doesn't let anyone use their toilets, and it's pretty gross

Actress Michelle Keegan has shared the reason behind the 'no toilets' rule for guests in her multi-million pound home.

Known most recently for her role as ex-soldier Maya Stern in Fool Me Once, Keegan, 37, and husband Mark Wright moved into the extravagant home last summer, after getting married in 2015.

Best known as a TV personality and football pundit, Wright, 37, has put an odd rule in place within their £3.5 million pound home following one harrowing incident.

In the summer of 2023, the powerhouse couple showed off their gorgeous new house after years of renovations and improvements.

They invited their friends over for a 'Marchella' festival, combining their names with the famous Coachella music festival to celebrate them finally moving in.

James 'Arg' Argent, best known for his time on reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex, performed at the 'festival' with his band, The Arg Band, as a good friend of Keegan and Wright.

However, it turns out that the new rule that the couple have in place is the fault of Argent, as Keegan appeared on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden to clarify what happened.

She began to explain: "Honestly every time we have parties now no-one's allowed to use it because of him..."

Doesn't sound pleasant, whichever way you spin it.

Host Jamie asked if it was Wright's decision to stop guests from using the home's toilets at parties, to which the Coronation Street actress answered: "Yeah he's very... like he's a clean freak, he doesn't like people using the toilet."

Keegan then revealed that they have to 'hire toilets and things' when they have big gatherings.

"I mean a big party if it's a family party that's fine but like if it's a big party... people can go to my toilet, I don't care," she revealed.

The Brassic actress then joked that 'in her eyes', Arg was more than welcome to use the toilet despite Wright's rule.

She explained what happened in the first place: "Yeah he destroyed it [the toilet]... he was hanging off," while also adding that her husband doesn't allow shoes in the house.

"He needs everything in place. He's a clean freak. Which is good because I know the house is gonna be clean," she admitted.

At Marchella, Arg snapped a pic of himself and Wright in front of the couple's new swimming pool to post on Instagram, captioning it: "Congratulations to my lovely friends Mark & Michelle for finally completing your dream Home.

"I am so proud of you & I love ya both to pieces. I had so much fun performing with my @theargband at the House Warming party today."

He also shared a picture with hostess Keegan, who helped plan out the extravagant party that featured huge marquees around the garden to stop the rain from spoiling their time, and even hired glamping tents for guests to stay overnight if they wanted to.
