This looks amazing.

Game of Thrones season seven is coming, people. It's been a long wait (some may say a little too long) but it's less than a month before we plonk ourselves in front of the telly with a family size bag of Doritos and a two litre bottle of Coke.

Hands down, GoT is one of the best TV series of all time. I don't think anyone can argue with that. We're in a golden age of TV, and it feels great.

To get fans in the mood, the marketing department of the show has been in overdrive. Recently, they staged a pop-up exhibit in Madrid, Spain, and gave fans a good old fashioned teasing. Nice.

Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams) and Hodor (Kristian Nairn) featured in a recording that was played before a whole host of clips and behind-the-scenes footage.

As you can see from the footage above, at one point we see Jon Snow addressing the nobles, saying: "Yesterday's wars don't matter. The North needs to band together," while Daenerys enters a cave in Dragonstone and Brienne and Pod train in (what appears to be) the courtyard of Winterfell.

Recently, we were treated to the first pictures of the new series - and they look great.

First up is Jon Snow aka King of the North. Military outfit and furs? Check.

The last we saw of good old Jon, he was exiling Milesandre and convening a meeting with the Northern Lords who erupted with 'KING OF THE NORTH' chants like they were at an English Premier League match.

Sansa joins Jon in the fur department and is with Little Finger, again. Anything's better than Ramsay though, right?

There's also shot of Lady Lyanna Mormont who gave us one of the most badass lines in the season when she stood up for Jon at the meeting.

Lyanna said: "Your son was butchered at the Red Wedding, Lord Manderly, but you refused the call.

"You swore allegiance to House Stark, Lord Glover, but in their hour of greatest need, you refused the call. And you, Lord Cerwyn, your father was skinned alive by Ramsay Bolton. Still you refused the call. But House Mormont remembers. The North remembers. We know no King but the King in the North whose name is Stark. I don't care if he's a bastard. Ned Stark's blood runs through his veins. He's my king from this day until his last day."

Now we have Queen Cersei...

Last time we saw her, she blew the fuck out of Westeros, killing the High Sparrow, Margaery, Mace and Loras Tyrell, Lancel and Kevan Lannister, along with hundreds of King's Landing nobles and the Faith Militant.

She also finally got to sit on the Iron Throne but only because her last remaining child, King Tommen, jumped out of a window after his beloved queen had died.

Jamie is also seen standing next to Cersei, but I won't even try and unravel that mess.

Things were finally heating up for Bran, who has literally spent the last five seasons trying to get to some tree which was overrun with creepy goblins. But if it wasn't for Bran we wouldn't have known who Jon Snow's parents are.

Varys is still looking as shady as ever so we'll just have to see whose lives he ruins this season.

Tormund and Lady Brienne are in the next shot, will they be in a relationship this season? Who knows.

Next up, Arya Stark. The last we saw of her she was slitting the throat of Walder Frey after she killed his two sons and made them into a pie.
