Netflix viewers seem to have a reoccurring complaint about the setting of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. You can check out the action-packed trailer below:

The sequel to 2019's Knives Out sees Tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton) inviting his friends for a getaway on his private Greek island.

When someone turns up dead, Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig), who is reprising his role from the first movie, is put on the case.

If Norton and Craig wasn't enough of a all-star cast, you've also got the likes of Janelle Monáe, Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista.

Despite the mega 94 percent critics rating and 93 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it seems that viewers are still pretty wound up by one particular thing.

The film itself is supposedly set in the summer of 2020, and while most of us have tried to erase 2020 from our memory, it's impossible to forget what the world went through during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"#GlassOnion did NOT need to take place during covid… always hate when shows/films do it, especially now that we’re two years past it," one viewer thought.

"Didn’t add anything to it, just made it worse honestly."

A second added: "Not sure they needed to feature covid as a plot point?! #GlassOnion."

Another viewer slammed: "Watching Glass Onion, the Knives Out sequel-ish on Netflix.

"It has covid in it, so I'm already declaring it absolute dog s**t."

However, not everyone was so upset with the film being set during the pandemic, as one person tweeted: "I finally got to see Glass Onion and to be honest I really disagree with people saying that they hated that it included the COVID-19 pandemic and that it added nothing to add to the overall storyline."

Someone else thought: "That the Glass Onion opens with in COVID complete with masks and zoom hangouts only to dispense it all with some magic shot might make it the most realistic movie about the pandemic, realistic in that it reflects our fantasies about the pandemic just going away."

Well it seems that some viewers of the film also reckon it could be 'banned' from Twitter over a character's stark similarity to Elon Musk.

Norton's character has got the social media platform talking as they can't help but compare the character to the new Twitter boss.

"Are endorsements of #GlassOnion allowed on Elon Musk's Twitter? I hope so because it's a delight," one viewer tweeted.

Another joked: "2.5 minutes in to #GlassOnion and Elon is gonna ban this one on Twitter."

"I wonder if Elon will be banning all #GlassOnion content on Twitter," a third person joked.

A fourth added: "Is it just me or is the character of Miles Bron strikingly similar to Elon Musk #GlassOnion #GlassOnionAKnivesOutMystery."

Although, given that Musk is planning to depart the role, it's probably one less thing to worry about.
