NFL Team Denver Broncos Have Placed The Entire South Park Town Into The Stadium

Considering that South Park is set in Colorado, it's only fair the state's NFL team honours the hilariously successful programme every now and then.

Sports events at the moment often feature fan cutouts on the seats since stadiums can't yet be filled to the brim with screaming fans due to the coronavirus.

However, instead of getting actual fans to send in photos of themselves, the Denver Broncos used characters from South Park to fill the seats.

They joined the more than 5,700 socially distanced live fans and all your favourite characters were there with face masks on. In addition to the regular line-up of Cartman, Kenny, Stan, Kyle, Butters and Randy, you've got the goth kids, Jesus, and Mr Hankey.

You can imagine all the South Park fans dying to get their hands on a massive cutout of their beloved characters.

It helps that not only did South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker grow up in Colorado, they're also massive fans of the Denver Broncos.

Sadly, the additional supporters in the stadium didn't help the Broncos as they lost to Tampa Bay 28-10.

If you're a South Park fan then you'll be counting down the hours until the show's pandemic special gets released.

People went wild when Comedy Central announced it would be dropping the programme's first ever hour-long episode on September 30.

The network released a trailer, showing Randy trying to get rich from selling weed while Cartman complains about having to go back to school during a pandemic.

The official synopsis for the special read: "Randy Marsh comes to terms with his role in the Covid-19 outbreak as the on-going pandemic presents continued challenges to the citizens of South Park. The kids happily head back to school but nothing resembles the normal that they once knew; not their teachers, not their homeroom, not even Eric Cartman."

In 23 years, it's the first time the programme has done an hour-long episode. While there have been epic two or three-part episodes (which arguably last an hour), audiences have never watched a whole episode for that long.

After it airs on Comedy Central, it will drop of HBO Max 24 hours later.
