Jackass Star Sean McInerney Attacked While Wakeboarding Over Shark-Infested Waters

Poopies didn't stick the landing and the predators wasted no time chomping on him.

Jackass star Sean McInerney is lucky to be alive after pulling one hell of a stunt for Discovery Channel's legendary Shark Week.

One of the newest recruits to the stunt team, who also goes by the stage name Poopies, was recruited to do some wakeboarding over shark-infested waters.

Footage has now been released for Shark Week showing the stunt man wakeboarding off a jump right in the middle of all the sharks.

If that sounds stupid to you, then you'd be 100 per cent right.

Sadly for him, he didn't stick the landing and plunged head first into all those predators, who didn't miss a beat in trying to nip at him for some food.

McInerney suffered a pretty horrible shark bite to the arm and hand before he was quickly pulled from the water.

His Jackass teammates Steve-O and Chris Pontius watched in horror from the boat and said he was lucky to escape with just some gnarly artery and tendon damage.

"He would be f**king dead if they didn't dive on him as fast as they did," Steve-O said. "Jesus, he got wrecked by a shark...for a Shark Week episode."

Chris added: "It's a reminder that, yeah, like, we are pushing it pretty hard. And this could happen, of course. It's either, like, everything's okay or this happens. And hopefully it's always everything's okay, everything's okay. But then... you know, this time it's not okay."

People watching the episode were pretty shocked at the precarious situation Sean put himself in.

But Sean didn't seem too fazed by the whole ordeal and said he learned a valuable lesson.

"I definitely got a degree in shark college there," McInerney said. "I knew there was a chance I was going to get bit by a shark, but I didn't think it was going to happen.

"I don't blame the sharks at all. I mean, I was in their living room, and it was dinnertime."

Can't argue with that.
