Man Claims He Couldn't Be Impartial In Kardashian Trial As He Would Be 'Replaying' Sex Tape In His Mind

Man Claims He Couldn't Be Impartial In Kardashian Trial As He Would Be 'Replaying' Sex Tape In His Mind

The man had never watched Keeping Up with the Kardashians however, was familiar with a different Kardashian production.

Coming up with excuses to get out of jury duty isn’t uncommon, however, this man has come up with a hilarious reason to get out of the trial between the Kardashians and Blac Chyna.

Let’s just say, the Kardashians weren’t too happy with it either.

According to Page Six, who were inside the Los Angeles Superior Court, Kardashian-Jenner attorney Michael Roads was asking a group of potential jurors whether they had strong feelings toward reality television when one man claimed he couldn’t be impartial.

It wasn't because he was a big fan of the celebrity family, but because he wouldn’t be able to get Kim's sex tape out of his mind.

He said as much with Kim, Khloe, and Kris sitting in the front row.

After clarifying that he had never watched Keeping Up with the Kardashians, he let loose that he was, however, familiar with a different production that Kim had been involved in.

He said: “I have watched [Kim] Kardashian's sex tape, and I don't think I can be impartial on this case."

Surely that wouldn’t impact his impartiality, right? Well apparently not, as he believed he wouldn’t be able to serve as a juror as he would be ‘replaying that sex tape over and over again’ in his head.

The response caused a roar of laughter from potential jurors, according to Page Six, however, the Kardashians themselves didn’t seem to share their joy.

Kris Jenner proceeded to shake her head in disappointment, while Kim kept her gaze away from the man and toward the front of the courtroom.

Meanwhile, Khloe looked visibly annoyed as she and her sisters walked out of the courtroom for a break.

The jury selection process has been a long one, with two groups of jurors totalling 76 people asked about their feelings toward the Kardashians and reality TV.

A third panel of 24 people is expected to be questioned as well.

One juror also admitted that he wouldn’t be able to remain impartial as he didn’t enjoy reality TV and wished the Kardashian’s show ‘wasn’t on any longer'.

Blac Chyna is currently seeking more than $40 million for loss of earning damages and more than $60 million in loss of future earning capacity damages.

She claims the Kardashians were ‘media predators’ who conspired to end her TV show Rob & Chyna, which she shared with her partner at the time Rob Kardashian.

She has also accused her ex-husband of being an ‘abuser’.
