There's an unprecedented pandemic upon us at the moment. Many changes have been made to try and get it under control and the film industry is no exception which is why Bad Boys for Life will be arriving on digital platforms sooner than initially anticipated.
The film, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, will be available on 31 March and after a cinema release date of 17 January that means there will be just 74 days between the theatre debut and the digital arrival.
Sony announced the film's early VOD release date. It means one of the biggest releases of the year will be ready to watch at a time when we're all stuck indoors (for our own good and the good of everyone around us, might I add).

Cinemas across the world have closed in one of the many measures that have been implemented to tackle to spread of coronavirus (Covid-19).
With this in mind, studios have been forced to bring films out on early digital release in a bid to stop the industry from drying up, with Universal fast-tracking The Invisible Man, The Hunt and Emma to become available on-demand for streaming.
This is great news for Bad Boys fans especially considering that the film was the highest rated for the trilogy after a huge opening weekend which saw it take in over $68 million (£58m).

This latest film has been recorded as the most successful of the three, according to a recent article by Forbes, compared to Bad Boys II which took $46 million (£39m) in its opening weekend back in 2003.
The story sees Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) return to the big screen after a 17-year absence.
As well as Smith and Lawrence, Joe Pantoliano returns to the role of Captain Howard, and Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Jacob Scipio and Paola Nuñez all join the cast. In a small guest appearance, DJ Khaled also features as a character called Manny the Butcher.
The first Bad Boys film was released in 1995 and followed lifelong pals Burnett and Lowrey as they attempt to protect a murder witness while investigating the theft of heroin from their own precinct in Miami.
