After months of hype, the Disney+ streaming service has finally arrived in Australia and New Zealand. What's more, Disney has decided to sweeten the deal for Aussies by offering a week's access for free - which you can get here.

After that glorious month, where you'll be able to watch all your favourite TV shows and movies from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, you'll have to pay $8.99 a month, or $89 for a full year.

It'll be full of your favourite movies and TV shows - 7,500 television episodes and 500 films from the Disney catalogue, to be exact, including 29 seasons of The Simpsons.

And if you're keen for some more nostalgia, Disney announced last night that customers will be able to watch every single Pixar theatrical short as part of the package - which is surely worth the subscription fee alone.

But as well as the old animated classics, the brand also confirmed two new series were in the works to form part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - home to the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set for release next year, while WandaVision - which focuses on the story arc of the Scarlet Witch and Vision - is due in 2021.

The Mandalorian, the Star Wars spin-off series, has already been getting rave reviews after just two episodes.

Disney+ is now available to customers in Australia and if you're keen to get a week for free, then click this link.
