People are discovering Will Poulter's hilarious show as a kid before he made it big in Hollywood

People are just discovering Will Poulter’s hilarious comedy sketch show he starred in before making it big in Hollywood, after a throwback clip started circulating online.

Watch 'little Gally' in action below:

Poulter, 30, has become one of Britain’s biggest acting exports, having starred in everything from The Chronicles of Narnia franchise to Black Mirror’s interactive feature film Bandersnatch.

He’s come a long way since his breakout role in 2007’s Son of Rambow, in which he played badly-behaved 12-year-old Lee Carter.

Just last year, when he had his turn as Adam Warlock in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, many fans couldn’t believe just how much he’d beefed up – with many remembering him as young Kenny in Jason Sudekis and Jennifer Aniston comedy We’re the Millers, which even won him a BAFTA Rising Star Award.

But there’s another project he worked on back in the day that’s gone viral recently, with a clip of a comedy show he did with E4 that’s been doing the rounds on TikTok.

Poulter starred in and co-wrote School of Comedy, which was turned into a TV series after success as a live show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The sketch show saw him play a number of characters, including a 1970s policeman called Geoff, a white van man called Terry and a closeted businessman called Leonard Lizard – a thinly-veiled parody of Wall Street’s Gordon Gekko.

In one scene, which was recently shared on TikTok, Poulter plays one of a pair of sexist and unprofessional paramedics, who joke that an injured child complained about ‘bleedin’ women drivers’ as he lay on the ground in pain.

As the pair laugh about with one another, making quips about the defibrillator machine (or 'jump leads') and farts, the child ends up dying.

“Oh s**t,” one says.

“He really is dead.”

He then looks up to the driver, asking: “How big’s your boot?!”

Many people commented on the clip in disbelief after realising one of the paramedics was none other than Poulter, with one writing: “Isn’t that the guy from Maze Runner?”

Someone else said: “Maze Runner and Adam Warlock.”

Another wrote: “Omg Will Poulter.”

A fourth said: “LITTLE GALLY.”

A fifth added: “THAT’S KENNY FROM WE’RE THE MILLERS.”
