Espresso martinis are the perfect cocktail to give you a boost on a night out.

The creamy drink, which traditionally consists of espresso, coffee liqueur, and vodka, is a staple at bars and clubs around the world.

Now, a simple variation of the classic cocktail has been shared online and people are calling it a 'gamechanger.'

In a TikTok video with more than 20,000 views, Kaelyn Page shared her three-ingredient recipe for the drink.

Kaelyn starts the clip by saying: "It's time to put y'all on to the best espresso martini you'll ever drink.

"And the best part is, it's only three ingredients."

The TikToker says that she and her friends have been slurping down the drink 'for years', and all you need is a coffee machine with espresso pods, some Irish liqueur and tequila.

To make the 'dangerously good' drink, she says: "First things first, start with your espresso."

After brewing the coffee, Kaelyn pours it into a cocktail shaker and adds ice. She then strays away from the traditional recipe with her choice of booze for the drink.

"Next, you need Irish liqueur (such as Baileys) and tequila," she says. "Two shots of the Irish liqueur and one shot of your tequila.

"You shake it up, pour it in your cute little martini glass, and enjoy!"

Kaelyn's unconventional espresso martini recipe includes espresso, tequila and Irish liqueur (e.g. Baileys).

The addition of Baileys Irish Cream makes the drink perfect for the festive season.

The liqueur is a delicious mix of cream, cocoa and Irish whiskey and has previously been dubbed 'the UK's favourite drink at Christmas.'

Recently, a popular myth surrounding the festive favourite was debunked.

With the liqueur containing dairy, many people presume it has to be stored in the fridge. But it turns out this isn't the case.

"No, Baileys does not have to be stored in the fridge," the company said on their website.

"The recommended storage temperature for Baileys is 0C to 25C and not in direct sunlight."

The addition of Baileys Irish Cream to Kaelyn's recipe makes it the perfect Christmas cocktail.

While there's no harm keeping your bottle in there - the average fridge temperature in the UK is 7C - you might as well save some room for Christmas dinner leftovers.

However, keep in mind that the cream does mean Baileys has a shorter shelf life than other alcohols.

"Baileys Original lasts 2 years from the day of bottling, opened or unopened when stored at the optimum temperature (0 to 25°C/32 to 77°F)," they explain.

"Please note that the 18, 20 or 24 month shelf life only applies to liquid in glass bottles.

"Our PET bottles which are 100ml or less all have a shelf life of 18 months."

Good to know, but I can't imagine a bottle of the good stuff lasting that long, can you?
