Unpopular jobs which require no degree and pay more than £40,000

Unpopular jobs which require no degree and pay more than £40,000

Do you know what you want to do instead of uni? Look no further...

Are you sick of worrying about what your future career might look like if you don’t go into higher education for a degree?

Well, don’t!

There are actually some pretty decent job opportunities out there that pay a fork load that might surprise you.

And guess what?

None of them require a degree.

This is because they have garnered less interest than more popular and mainstream roles, so that means that there will be a lot less competition for you to come up against when applying.

The good news here is that many of these unpopular jobs end up paying more than the average advertised salary of £37,697, according to data from career search engine Adzuna.

After sifting through over a million vacancies to find which had the lowest interest from job seekers, it came up with a list of high paying roles that don't require a degree in your pocket.

Now these aren’t actually bad jobs, they’re essential roles that need to be done and are rightfully paid a lot of money for what’s involved.

So, be prepared for some pretty full on days in the office!

Are you ready for the jobs?

Adzuna describes these roles as great options for those who are in similar industries already or are hoping to make a career change.

Obviously, like any job, you’ll first need some training to work in the role, but you can always begin as a junior or apprentice if going to uni isn’t something you have your heart set on.

Instead, you’ll be able to climb the ranks and earn more as you progress within the company or gain more experience to switch over to a new business.

Pretty decent, eh?
