If you're a nervous flyer, then look away now as seeing two planes flying scarily close is probably not what you want to see.
A TikTok account has shared a video of two planes flying close together as they film a commercial, and the wings are so close they could nearly touch.

The video, shared by TikTok user @lucaasyt, showed two planes flying so close together that he could film the cockpit of the other plane.

The planes, from airline Air Canada Rouge, were filming a very carefully planned commercial back in 2016, which is why they were so close together. As the clip shows, the stunt was performed to perfection by the highly experienced pilots.
At one point in the video, the camera can be seen zooming in on the other plane's cockpit and the two pilots on board. Elsewhere in the footage, the wings can be seen with very little space between them as they fly past each other.
The video has been liked by over 34,000 on TikTok and has already caught the attention of many TikTok users, who have been quick to comment.
One user wrote: "Don’t try this at home".

"Looks like an accident waiting to happen," warned another, unaware of the video's origin.
Responding to comments saying the planes were 'dangerously close', one person said: "It’s not dangerously close...it was clearly planned as a promotional thing."
Another added: "It was a publicity photo shoot for the company. No passengers on board."
A third commented: "Professional pilots! Everyone knows what they are doing."
An Air Canada spokesperson shed some light on the now-viral TikTok video, explaining how carefully orchestrated the stunt was.

They told LADbible: "This footage dates from 2016 and was taken during air-to-air filming that was carefully planned and executed by experienced pilots who have performed formation flying in the past.
"As always, all necessary safety protocols were followed, and this mission was approved by regulatory authorities".
Elsewhere in the aviation and travel world, UK holidaymakers have been warned that they must have their electrical devices fully charged before boarding their flight.
The UK Government website states: "Make sure your electronic devices are charged before you travel. If your device does not switch on when requested, you will not be allowed to take it onto the aircraft."

British Airways have elaborated on the rule and have said: "You can generally take electric and electronic items in your hand or checked baggage, but need to follow specific safety instructions.
"Airport security staff may ask you to turn on electronic or battery-powered devices, such as phones, tablets, e-books and laptops, to demonstrate their function.
"If you're not able to do this, you will not be able to take your device with you."
