A Sydney woman is fuming and fed up thanks to the monstrous horde of hundreds of pigeons who have chosen to claim the land around her home as their own.
The birds weren't there when the couple moved to their inner Sydney home.
But they are now overrun with the sky rats thanks to their neighbour that has refused to stop the growing army of birds on his roof.

The anonymous woman wrote into news.com.au’s weekly column Sisters In Law, a column that gives readers advice pertaining to potential legal problems.

The agony aunt-style advice column is penned by Alison and Jillian Barrett from Maurice Blackburn.
They're both real life sisters and real life lawyers. Neat, huh?
Anyway, the woman wrote in to reveal things turned ugly when one of their neighbours attempted to become the New South Wales' very own Doctor Dolittle.
“Two years ago, my husband and I moved into our dream home in inner Sydney," she wrote.
"We love the neighbourhood, except for one thing – we have a selfish neighbour who feeds pigeons on his garage roof every single morning."

She revealed that their neighbourhood had become the designated - and, as a result, disgusting - hangout for the flying germ-carriers.
They're now flocking up and down the street of their city address in their hundreds, with more birds turning up as the pigeon-word spreads.
“It attracts hundreds and hundreds of birds at a time – and because we unfortunately have the nearest tree in the area, they congregate in the branches before and after feeding time,” she explained.

“You can’t imagine the smell and the mess they make, and as I’m currently pregnant with our first child, I’m even more concerned than usual about the health risks.”
She added: “We’ve asked our neighbour to stop but he doesn’t care at all.

"We’ve also complained to the City of Sydney Council, who said it’s not their problem. Is there anything at all we can do, or will we be forced to flee the area?”
Well, as it turns out, it's a bit of a tricky situation as there is no law in Australia that prohibits people from feeding birds on their own land.
However, the Barrett sisters did detail a few routes they could take to have their issue solved.
They advised her to contact her local council and the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
The lawyer sisters added that she could file civil action against her neighbour if the property is damaged or a health issue arises.

Which could actually happen because, as well as being stinky, pigeon poop can do some serious damage.
And they're seriously gross.
Experts from Australian extermination business Custom Weed and Pest Control advise against feeding pigeons to avoid situations exactly like this one. sharing a similar sentiment.
“Pigeon’s droppings are highly acidic. Over time, their waste can break down building materials such as concrete, metal and wood," the pest control experts claim on their website.
"Once these materials break down, rodents and insects are able to get into your building."

Their website also stated that, as easements
Seems that poor Sydney couple had better fly on over to Sydney City Council ASAP, then.
