FIFA 21 will launch worldwide on October 9th 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition you'll be able to get a head start - being able to play from October 6.

If you were considering waiting for the next-generation version of FIFA 21 on PS5 or Xbox X, the good news is that you'll get that FREE with your PS4 or Xbox One version. You will need to stick with the same console line - but it'll also transfer over all your save data, pre-order content from Ultimate Team edition and FUT coins etc to your next-gen console. Pretty handy, that.

This FREE upgrade will carry all the way through until FIFA 22 launches next year.

We don't have launch dates for either the PS5 or Xbox X yet - but we would probably bet on FIFA 21 being a day one launch.

Can I play my mate on Xbox yet?
Sadly, this isn't the year you'll be able to play your mates on the Xbox if you have a PlayStation, or vice-versa. EA say that cross-platform play is a "long term goal of ours" and they will update us when there's more news.
