Gwyneth Paltrow Eats One Of Her Vagina-Scented Candles In New Uber Eats Ad

The bizarre clip comes from an Uber Eats advert for the Super Bowl that sees a host of celebrities munching on inedible objects

We’ve had some bizarre news come out of 2022 already, but Gwyneth Paltrow eating one of her vagina-scented candles might just take the biscuit. Take a look below:

The 49-year-old was met with raised eyebrows when she first released the candle, ‘This Smells Like My Vagina’, back in January 2020 on her wellness site Goop.

She has now shocked the public once again after munching on one in a new Super Bowl advert for Uber Eats.

In the ad, Gwyneth is pictured taking a bite out of the candle before telling the camera: “This candle tastes funny. Not bad, but funny.”

It goes without saying, but do not try this at home.

The ad aims to highlight that Uber Eats offers more than just takeaway food, so users are able to pick up ‘essentials’ as well.

Gwyneth is not the only one munching on a seemingly inedible object, as Jennifer Coolidge eats a lipstick, and Trever Noah takes a bite out of a stick of deodorant.

You may be relieved, or unimpressed, to hear the items are not real and have been made from prop foods, as the ad finishes off by saying: “Get anything. Don’t always eat it.”

The full commercial is set to air during the Super Bowl on 13 February.

Gwyneth’s Goop brand began as a newsletter in 2008, before transitioning into a health and wellness company in 2011.

And, despite what you may think, the candles have enjoyed huge success leading to various spin-off items being made, such as one called ‘This Smells Like My Orgasm’.

‘Hands Off My Vagina’ is a charity spin-off project released by Gwyneth, with a $25 donation per candle going to the ACLU Foundation’s Reproductive Freedom Project.

The project campaigns for women’s reproductive rights, such as through contraception and abortion access, which challenges bans set by several states in the US.

If you are now wondering what Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina smells like, you can purchase one for the humble price of £70 on the UK Goop site, or $75 on the American site.

Evidently no stranger to taboo topics, Gwyneth previously revealed it was Rob Lowe’s wife Sheryl Berkoff who taught her how to ‘perform oral sex’.

She told Lowe on his podcast: "I met Sheryl and I was, like, immediately obsessed with her. First of all, she was dating Keanu Reeves, who was my celebrity crush. And she was so cool.

"She knew that I was sneaking cigarettes, and she would come smoke with me behind the trailer. And, she taught me how to give a blow job, and you know, all the classic Sheryl stuff.”
