Warning: This article contains images that some readers may find distressing.

We've all done some crazy things in our time to try and make ourselves seem more attractive, whether it be a new haircut, a cool hat, or a nose piercing. Good times.

But when it comes to getting big muscles, which I've heard is a surefire 100 per cent success rate way to win over women, most people sign up for the gym, rather than injecting oil into our arms.

However, Kirill Tereshin was desperate to create some artificial muscles, without splashing out for one of those bodybuilding Halloween suits, and instead decided to inflate them using petroleum jelly.

He went through with the dangerous DIY procedure, as well as getting some face filler, in a bid to attract beautiful women, but has now been forced to have surgery to remove his biceps, leaving his thousands of Instagram followers concerned.

He confirmed the news on his social media last week, and has now shared some before and after photos which highlight the extent of the damage that he did to his arms, which have effectively now been deflated.

The photos show the Russian man, also known as Bazooka Hands, in hospital with his now deformed arms, while a video also emphasises just how limited his arm movement now is.

It was as far back as 2023 that Tereshin first admitted that he had made a mistake and suggested that the damage could not be fixed, but two years on it seems as if he's finally had surgery to try and at least improve the health of his arms.

After having the surgery to remove the dead muscles in his arms, his fans were united in that he had made a good decision by finally getting them gone, having been warned by doctors about the threat of death when he first had surgery to look more like an alien in his 20s.

One person commented: "Good choice brother."

Another wrote: "I wish your surgery is a success and you recover."

A third added: "Have you finally come to your senses?"

A fourth wrote: "Beautiful, that's what we want to see."

And a fifth chimed in saying: "Brother, it's time to step away from social media and become a regular person. You'll be far better off."

It's further proof that the dangerous health advice we receive on the internet, or from a certain president suggesting that disinfectant could treat Covid, should never be followed.
