Last week, a number of customers and staff found themselves snowed in at a Danish IKEA and had to spend a night inside the store.
For some people, this would be their idea of a nightmare - well, until they learn that those stuck were treated to cinnamon buns, hot chocolate and even some beer.
Speaking to Insider, the store manager Peter Elmose said: "It was a once in a lifetime experience. I've been working in IKEA, and I've never experienced this before."

He went on to explain how those stuck made the most of the situation by watching TV, playing card games as well as eating the cafeteria food before retiring off to bed.
Doesn't sound too bad this, does it?
If things needed to get better, they brought in sofas from the living room section of the store, watched Christmas films and even streamed the Liverpool-Everton match on a big projector.
With many people opting to sip a beer while they watch the footie, it seems as if IKEA had everything under control with Peter going on to add: "We had some hot cinnamon buns, hot chocolate, and coffee. There was even some beer."

Yes Peter.
He continued: "Everybody was actually calm, and we were able to make it nice and cosy. Our values are to take care of each other and so we had a nice time and enjoyed the evening."
After spending what sounds like a wholesome evening together, Elmose went a step further and woke everyone up with a coffee and more cinnamon buns in the morning.

Someone give this man a raise.
Not stopping there, everyone was also given a free pillow to mark the 'memorable experience'.
The shoppers found themselves stuck after up to 12 inches of snow fell around the Aalborg store.
The staff and customers ended up sleeping in the furniture exhibitions and showrooms - giving them plenty of time to test out beds and mattresses.

Denmark’s public broadcaster, DR, said people working in a toy shop next door also spent the night in the store.
Michelle Barrett, one of the toy shop staff, told DR: “It’s much better than sleeping in one’s car. It has been nice and warm and we are just happy that they would let us in.
“We just laughed at the situation, because we will probably not experience it again."
