Russia has the World Cup in two years' time. I'll just let that sink in for a minute.
Anyway, with the embarrassing scenes after the match against England, and reports of more problems since, you'd think Vladimir Putin would be coy over it all. As well as that, the Russians face expulsion from the Euros if violence continues.

Actually, fuck it! And the fact shit loads of their Olympics athletes were high as hell in Athens, 2004, and Beijing, 2008, you'd think he'd be grovelling and crying and begging FIFA not to take the World Cup from him. (I'm not even going to get into politics).
But no, Vlad 'I give no shits' Putin has, according to The Independent, trolled the English, saying: "I don't know how 200 Russian fans could beat several thousand of the British," Well, Vladimir, if you think that mob violence, nearly resulting in a crush, with children and families scared is a laughing matter, that's a bit of a problem, isn't it!
Of course, this could have been a language barrier issue, and he could have meant it never happened, but that's just as dismissive. In fact, in some ways, it's worse.
He also believes that hooliganism is detracting from the football:
"At the moment we see that there are many problems in sports." Yep, mostly coming from Russia.
"The European football cup is taking place at the moment, but I believe that people are paying more attention to the fan fights."
No shit, Sherlock.
Seriously, though, Vlad... take this a bit more seriously, maybe?
