While vacationing in İçmeler, Turkey, a man decided to get a traditional wax and instantly regretted his decision.
The Geordie bloke tried to immerse himself in a different culture by partaking in a little grooming, and the results were hilarious.
In a video that has now gone viral, it shows the man anxiously awaiting for the barber to remove the waxing strips placed under his under eyes, on the bridge of his nose, and inside his nose and ears.
“He’s gone a different colour,” a woman behind the camera said.
The man seemed somewhat composed initially; however, as the barber removed the waxing strip from his ear, the Geordie native let out an excruciating moan.

Before all strips are removed, the man begged the specialist to ‘stop’ the treatment, resulting in laughter from the camerawoman.
Many empathised with the man’s pain, with one person writing in the comments section: “No mate we do not do like that.”
Another person said: “I get that done every 5-6 weeks - Turks know how to keep you looking sharp!”
While other thrill-seekers insisted the procedure wasn’t as irritating as it looked.
One person wrote: “What a wimp. This hasn't got s**t on that industrial strength face mask we used that time.”

Turkish waxing was invented in the southern Bosnian and Herzegovinan city, Mostar back in In the late '80s.
It’s become a hugely popular grooming method amongst barbers, where they apply hot wax on key areas of the face, inside the ears and nose. The aim is to remove all that hair for a clean-shaven, fresh look.
Many have shared their experiences of getting the infamous wax online, with loads squirming as each strip is yanked off.

In a video uploaded to YouTube, which has been viewed more than 12 million times, a barber removed an ear tip set with hot wax placed inside a customer's nose, with the man releasing a deafening scream.
One person wrote: “They should not charge this guy for his waxing treatment just because he is so freaking entertaining!!!!!!”
Another person said: “I've seen this a half dozen times and this this time I cried until it hurt. This is gold.”
While another commented: “I normally don't laugh at others pain. This was so funny, I am crying and had to blow my nose!”
