Women have started a new trend on TikTok where they comment on men's live streams with 'short king'.

They've been uploading their compilations to the social media site and the results are absolutely hilarious.

Sadi Khansk wrote comments like 'we love a short king' on random guys' lives and they were not happy one bit.

Some blokes would be in the middle of saying something, pause, read Sadi's comment and then race to prove they are at least six feet tall.

You've never seen someone so quickly defend their height before.

Height is a strange realm in the dating world as it seemingly means a lot to some.

There are loads of people who will refuse to date someone who is shorter than six foot, which leads to many claiming to respective partners they are definitely on or above that mark when they might not be.

This could be why some of these men are so defensive when women like Sadi praise them for being a 'short king'.

In her first video, one bloke says in reaction to the comment: "We love a short king?! I'm 6'1″?! I could have anyone I wanted."

Another guy said: "I'm sorry what?! We love a short ki...what do you mean short king?! I'm six-foot dawg. Six foot. Don't ever say that."

Sadi then uploaded a part two and people started getting very angry at her. Some even resorted to touching the ceiling to prove they weren't short.

One guy yelled: "I'm not f**king short. What are you talking about? I'm like f**king...well I don't know I'm short to some people. I'm five f**king nine, I'm not a tall skinny bast**d."

It seems like loads of TikTok users jumped on the bandwagon as some of the guys being targeted would ask why so many people have brought up their height.

'Short king' has been used as a term of endearment for blokes who are under five foot nine.

It was popularised by cody ko and Noel Miller in their videos on social media and the term is usually used by regular people when they're talking about their favourite male celebrity who is shorter than five nine.

Blackbear and TMG also released a song to capitalise on the movement and called it 'Short Kings Anthem'.

The track had lyrics like: "And I must be this tall to ride/I'm a fun-sized, super nice guy/I'm five foot something, and I'm royalty/Short king, mama ayy, shorty."
